She Loves Data and #Datadriven are coming to New Zealand again!
Introduction to Data Analytics is the signature and original workshop under the She Loves Data umbrella, where women from all walks of life get the opportunity to learn the very basics of data analytics from experts for free, no experience required. This workshop is tailored to complete novices and is exclusive to women. We hope it encourages more women to consider a career in data analytics, where diversity is so needed! How far can it lead? Under the guidance from experienced professionals, who volunteer to help us run these workshops, you will learn hands-on how to create a basic BI project using all the presented tools and build your first reports and dashboards. You will learn all the basic from what ‘data’ means, what it looks like and where it is stored all the way through learning very basics of your first programming language SQL to be able to interrogate the data. Last part of the day will be a visualization session, where you will learn both theory of how to display data for the best impact.
